It is simply one of those spellbinding classics, and it is so haunting. Getting further in to it however it gets a bit less shock and awe but even then still maintains great writing and storytelling. The way the stories are told about the main character, and others, is masterful and some of the characters in general are perfectly written. A must read if you never read the book.

It is one of my most favorite books ever! I love how the author made the machines, or tripods, I know the 2005 is not a retelling of h.g Wells novel, but I love this book, it is Great.

A magnificent read.When this was first published it must have terrified the people.It still survives to this day as a brilliant and innovative piece of writing. Everyone should read this story at least once in their lifetime.
