About this ebook

Seattle native Matti Puletasi has the strength of a bear, the stamina of an ox, and a magical hammer inherited from her dwarven mother.

She’s happy renovating homes and occasionally thumping bad guys until she learns of a mysterious artifact hidden under the house she’s working on. Everybody from humans to orcs to werewolves wants it, and they’re willing to kill to get it. Things go from bad to worse when someone frames her for murder.

The only person interested in helping her is a haughty elf assassin from another realm. He’s handsome, powerful, and deadly, but he’s got an agenda of his own. She dare not trust him—or be attracted to him.

But if she can’t clear her name, the assassin will be the least of her worries.

Set in the same world as Death Before Dragons, the Legacy of Magic series is perfect for urban fantasy fans who enjoy adventure, snarky humor, and slow-burn romance stories with badass elves who should not be trusted. Pick up Book 1, Hammered, today!

A good begining to a new series. A star deducted because I hate cliff hangers. I think they are a cheap way for inferior story tellers to generate revenue, and thus insulting the readers and purchasers of their books.

legacy of magic is currently my favourite series, Matti is a delight! I love that she is a hard-working blue collar heroine with more curves and less inches than is fashionable. Her life has been tough (and Lindsay is only going to make it tougher) but she never gives up and particularly never gives up on her friends and family. It may help that I share her love of cheese and perhaps her fashion style! I've just finished the series for the 3rd time.

I have loved Lindsay Buroker's writing ever since I stumbled across her books with Val and her Tiger. Since then, I eagerly await her every new release and gobble them down as fast as she releases them. The wit and charm and action and sexual tension with magic and fantasy....equals a blissful read! Definitely worthy of anyone's attention who enjoys romance, action, comedy and a fantasy blended with forward momentum...never a dull moment. Thank you Lindsay Buroker for sharing your literary creations with the world! I have read fantasy novels for years and Lindsay Buroker is my favorite author by far! Give her books a try and you won't regret it! My only regret is that they are only available online as I wish I could have a hard cover copy of all her books!
