Lakeshore Secrets: Small Town Second Chance Fake Marriage Romance

The ending was so rushed. After Drake shoots Carl, he reveals that he is his real father, then the next scene, they are playing with a little girl. How about explaining why he lied about being his father and allowing Marc to grow up under his brother that was a tyrant. And also, why did Carl not reveal anything about the child Rosemary, that was apparently his granddaughter, which he stole and Marc had no clue about her pregnancy. The ending really made no sense. The author left the ending with so many holes and questions, like she was rushing just to say she ended the book without thinking over any scenarios.

Great read, fast paced romance. It's a shame that the ending is so rushed though, would have been great to read how the characters dealt with the fall out of the situation they were in. The author writes really well, you don't want to put the book down (despite so many typos 🫣)

It was a pretty good book, I likes Marc, and Kate and her sisters, a lot of drama there , but when Drake shot Carl, noticed the word for shot was spelled shirt . Sorry but so close to the end, of the book, sorry but that should of been caught.
