About this ebook

A notorious prince heads to the South Pacific and finds redemption in the most unexpected place: with his sister's best friend.

Prince Alessandro Barrali is known for his wild ways. After he’s compelled to stand in for his staid identical twin, all Alessandro wants is to escape the fishbowl of palace life and indulge himself. When he awakens aboard the royal yacht awash in hedonism, yet bored out of his mind, he decides a new quest is in order.

Francesca “Frannie” Lawrence needs capable volunteers at the children’s shelter she’s opened on the tsunami-devastated South Pacific island of Kilakuru. When Prince Alessandro Barrali appears on her doorstep, she’s sure she has a nightmare on her hands. Since the royal family provide the shelter’s financial backing, she can’t turn him away. Nor can she deny that the children adore him. Can she find a way to protect the children in her care—and the walls around her heart—against a challenge from a wicked prince?

The Wicked Prince is the fifth book in the romantic Royal Scandals series, but each can be read as a standalone story.

Get ready for a heartwarming read about a prince in need of redemption, the bonds that create family, workplace relationships, and even twins switching places. With all Royal Scandals stories, you can expect true-to-life settings around the world, a behind-the-scenes peek into royal romances, and believable happily-ever-afters.

Ideal for those who enjoy books by Kylie Gilmore, Claire Kingsley, Melody Grace, Tawna Fenske, and Debra Clopton.

It's hard to review a book about royalty because I only know stereotypes, but these seem to fit that pretty well. The heir is all about cultural expectations, and the spare is a playboy who reforms when he meets his forever. In this case she's all heart, dedicated to serving the orphaned children of a small typhoon-ravaged South Pacific island. She's an uber-wealthy socialite but a commoner nonetheless. The writing is smooth and highly readable, characters are lively and lovable, the pacing is zippy, and the HEA ties up everything as it should. A great story for romance lovers.
