About this ebook

Buying my ex at a date-a-firefighter charity auction? Probably not my best idea...

But to be fair, Jake Hansen is no ordinary ex.

He’s the boy who taught me how to love, the ending I never stopped regretting, and the only person in the world who hates me with the force of a thousand roaring house fires.

Which is how I end up buying a month of Friday nights with the man.

It’s the only way I can get him to stand still long enough to untangle a decade-old misunderstanding.

Jake makes it clear he would rather run headfirst into a burning building than spend time with me, but the more time we spend together, the harder it is to pretend the old feelings aren’t still there.

Maybe this is more than a chance to make things right.

Maybe this is the fire we had to walk through to find our way back to each other.

Or maybe I’ve just paid fifteen hundred dollars for the privilege of having my heart incinerated by the sexiest man I’ve ever met.

Again...

ALL FIRED UP is a steamy, funny, heartfelt second-chance firefighter romance featuring a very grumpy fire chief, a sunshine baker, charity auction drama, small-town meddling, and enough heat to make the fire marshal nervous.

Buying my ex at a date-a-firefighter charity auction? Probably not my best idea... But to be fair, Jake Hansen is no ordinary ex. This is the first book in a new series and a spin off of Bliss River. I love seeing some of my favorites of Bliss River especially Aria and her family. I love a good second chance romance and this one fit the bill. Naomi and Jake so deserve a HEA. They both have experienced life and it's devastating losses. My heart broke with their stories. It's going to be a road paved with forgiveness for these two. It's beautiful watching these two reconnect with the people they are now. I loved the humor in this one, but it has plenty of heart and heat. Getting to know Faith in this one I can't wait for the next book in the series!!

Book 1 in the Hometown Heat series and it was a great start. Loved this second chance romance and Lili did a great job bringing Jake and Naomi’s story to life. They were a couple when they were in high school but Naomi leaves to live her life while leaving Jake behind. 15 years have passed and now she is back in town and while he is not happy how things ended, the more they are together, the old feelings he felt for her start to come back to the surface. Loved this book so much and it is a great start to another wonderful series by Lili. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I was pleasantly surprised to find myself back in Bliss River with several familiar names (and even mentions of Happy Cat!). Naomi and Jake’s second chance love story took time to ignite, to work past old hurts. But when it did, things between them really took off. The secret that would nearly break them was one we could see coming. I was glad that things were resolved fairly quickly. I’m really looking forward to Faith and Mick’s story. We get a preview inside All Fired Up (although the timing of it felt a bit weird to me) and again after the novel ends. I am happy to return to Bliss River anytime. Plus the narrators (Lili and Teddy) were incredible. They really brought Naomi and Jake (and Faith) to life.
