I had high hopes when I started this book. I usually love pirate tales & action /thrillers but this one just didn't sit well with me for some reason.

an enjoyable slow boil. The kind of book I found myself reading bits at a time before turning in for the night until the ending came rushing at me like a train- then I couldn't put it down.

Well written, as usual. But, I found pacing slow and it seemed the content was belabored, stretched and forced. So it goes.
About the author
