About this ebook

C.S. Lewis didn’t drift into faith on a wave of vague spirituality. He argued, doubted, suffered, buried people he loved, and still came to trust Jesus with his whole mind and heart.

This book invites you to walk that road with him.

Through seven accessible chapters, you’ll explore Lewis’s big questions about right and wrong, law and grace, joy and longing, prayer and Scripture, suffering and death, heaven and hell. Along the way you’ll meet Lewis as a wounded schoolboy, a skeptical scholar, a reluctant convert, and finally as a Christian who learned to live, think, and hope in the light of Christ.

Written for ordinary readers, not specialists, this is a guided tour through Lewis’s spiritual world, with plenty of space for your own questions, doubts, and discoveries.

Shawn Armstrong is an ordained minister, historian, and author whose work ranges from battlefield fiction to political analysis, theology, and practical self-defense.
