About this ebook

Doreen Montgomery—an amateur sleuth who can’t help but stumble into trouble while solving crimes—falls right into another case. When a local break-in leads to the suspicious death of beloved jewelry collector Roger Bennington, Doreen finds herself drawn into a tangled web of secrets, old relationships, and hidden motives.

As she uncovers lost jewelry tied to the Benningtons, eventually facing off against a cunning killer, Doreen has to cross some lines, like her promise to stay out of official police business—much to the chagrin of her fiancé, Detective Mack Moreau. With the help of her quirky grandmother, a band of rebellious seniors, and her loyal animal companions, Doreen unravels a mystery that navigates Bennington family drama, stretching from the past into the present.

Sometimes the most dangerous secrets are the ones closest to home.

This latest installment in the series is full of humor, heart, and unexpected twists and is a delightful read for fans of cozy mysteries and of strong unconventional heroines.

Doreen's finding the "Trinket in the Thyme" starts another story about her detective abilities and her "get in trouble" abilities as well. Her antics keep her fiance, Detective Mack, on the alert to protect her once again. Nan, her grandmother, is ever ready to help the investigation too. Doreen's pets are adorable, loyal and devoted to keeping her save. All this adds up to another very enjoyable book to read!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I have read all of the Lovely Lethal Gardens and am now working my way through the Lovely Lethal Gardens Rewind series. These are fun books with moments of serious. Doreen and her teams (Fur and Feathers, Lively Seniors, local law enforcement) work together to solve the cold cases and the current ones. I will admit that Mugs, Goliath and Thaddeus outdo themselves this book. Bravo!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great tongue in cheek, cosy mystery from Dale Mayer and a welcome return to Kelowna and the ongoing antics of Doreen Montgomery and her wonderful menagerie of animals. When Doreen found a bracelet in a patch of thyme, little did she know the significance, and the trouble that it would lead her into , but this is Doreen that we are talking about, slightly dippy, slightly naïve but trouble seems to follow her where ever she goes. The bracelet was part of a stolen design collection owned by

Hey there. I’m a Canadian USA Today best-selling author, and I love writing for everyone—whether you’re young, old, or somewhere in between. My books? Well, they’re a mixed bag. Some are steamy, some are sweet, and a few might have you sleeping with the lights on. Others are perfect for snuggling up with.

And you know what? That’s totally okay with me.

One thing’s for sure: every book I write promises to be a great read, every single time.
