Five stars isn't enough! I read these in anticipation of Stone & Sky, and they just made me so much more impatient for the book! These short stories pack a huge punch, and within a small amount of pages, I'm invested in them all. I already care what happens to them. From Kaelor and his love of perfection, to Smarlo, the really cute Orc Mage and Ralowyn and her ability to connect with animals, each story has so much to bring to the table. Each character is so different and has such depth to them, the stories are so immersive. I'm not a particular fan of short stories, but this is something else. The writing is absolutely perfect and I really can't wait to see how they all connect. Love, love, love!!!!

Stone & Sky Preludes Collection is a must have for anyone who loves unique characters and is looking for an adventure! I read the preludes along with Stone & Sky and what a delightful addition it was! The author does a wonderful job introducing the characters and setting you up for bigger and better things to come in the Stone & Sky Novel! If you love fantasy, awesome characters, and just plain fun, I highly recommend this book!!

The Prelude to my Unexpected Journey. I was able to read and listen to these stories prior to reading Stone and Sky and I do not regret it. This book was fantastic, you get to see different origins and sides to characters who appear in the main book and it tells you where in the main book this takes place before. I highly recommend this and stone and sky
