About the author

Dr. Scott Silverii is a son of the Living God. Thankful for the gift of his wife, Leah, they share seven kids combined. A 25-year law enforcement career promptly ended when God called him to service in 2015. Scott is through MarriageToday as a Marriage On The Rock counselor as well as a SYMBIS facilitator.

The "Chief" admits what he thought he'd learned from leading others during a highly-decorated career that included 12 years undercover, 16 years in SWAT and 5 as Police Chief, was nothing like leading people to Christ.

Currently in seminary studies to earn a Doctorate of Ministry, Scott has earned a Master of Public Administration and a Ph.D. in Cultural Anthropology. Education and experience allow for a deeper understanding in ministering to the wounded, as he worked to break free from his own past pain and abuse.

In 2016, Scott was led to plant a church in the third space of digital media. Exclusive to online ministry, Five Stones Church.Online was born out of the calling to combat the negative influences reigning over social media. Scott's alpha manhood model for heroes is defined by:

Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love. (1 Corinthians 16:13-14)

Leah Silverii's heart for teaching others began before attending TCU as a music major. With a secret passion for writing and a dream that wouldn't go away, Leah penned novels in secret while teaching school. It only took thirteen years and an untold number of manuscripts for her dreams to come true. Leah, who writes under a pen name, has authored more than sixty works of fiction. She appears consistently on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller list.

Co-founding Blue Marriage and Five Stones Press with her husband, Scott, Leah has redirected her writing and advocacy efforts on not only strengthening their own marriage, but paying their blessing forward by helping other marriages succeed. Leah and Scott's Marriage Police Academy is the only one in the country, and they love teaching and helping others.
