Kinky Briefs, Cinque

Kinky Briefs, Cinque by Seelie Kay was a fast read that will put a new meaning to quick and dirty. This was my first read by this author, and I am a fan. This book is part of a series, I didn't read the first book, but as far as I can tell they can be read as stand-a-lones. There is something to say when a author can pull you into a book that is a mix of several short and quick flash fictions. There was just enough of the characters for you to get to know them before things are a little hot and heavy, and before we are tossed into the next story. Each new story is different, and unique from the other, giving a clear separation, so you don't get the voices confused or the story lines. It was truly a delight to read, and to witness such expert writing. Because the stories were so short (I'm talking a like 10 to 20 pages), I don't have a favourite per say, but I didn't hate any of them. I very much enough loved everything about this book. Every little story has a intro, like a mini synopsis to spark your interest and to give you a hook, and insight before you start reading. It was refreshing and, this is a perfect book if you want to escape if don't have much time, like lunch brake, or a car/bus ride. Overall, I highly recommend this book.
