The excitement and joy of a young boy and the gentleness of his father draw Amanda to Isaac and Rafe. Her life holds deep sorrow as does Rafe’s. Can they overcome fear and let love capture their hearts? Only the magic of Christmas will determine. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of the book. This book is one of RaeAnne Thayne's most enjoyable Christmas reads. I loved each of the characters (Amanda, Birdie, and Rafe) for their various charms, strengths, and what they each added to the story. The children and "Grampa" are necessary to the story as well. I would enjoy the weekend market where they worked and frequented too. This novel is one I would highly recommend as an ideal Christmas gift or Thanksgiving read.
