This is one of the best books I've read in a while... Maddie was stuck in an unhappy relationship with Liam a man that could be so nice one min and horrible the next especially to Maddies young daughter that she had from previous relationship after her Daughters Dad died in a nasty accident Liam was there for Maddie but she couldn't take him being horrible to her daughter any more and moved away to be with her Dad at the hotel he owns... Liam just cant seem to let Maddie go though and turns out his a very dangerous man... This author was very good at going back in time you read extracts from a diary of the young lady that used to live at the hotel Wreah Head Hall (which is a real hotel in Scarborough) from when she lived there in the 40's during war times... It was such a good book how it was easy to read and all fitted nicely with the old time story from the diary and to what's happening now really recommend this 5 star read 📚 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟📚🤗👍
