About this ebook

‘Tis the season for unexpected matches…

Matchmaker Charlotte Newman believes there is someone for everyone…

…even grumpy, fire chief Grant Kennedy.

As the owner of Love Notes Matchmaking Services, helping others find true love is Charlotte’s job. But it’s also her passion. And there hasn’t been a client she didn’t want to help.

That is until Grant.

As cranky as he is sexy, Grant is a reminder that she almost burned her condo building down while wearing sheer reindeer lingerie. Not her best moment.

And he witnessed it all.

But as the winner of the Firefighters’ Gala door prize of three Love Notes sessions, Grant can demand her help. Plus, he is a widower with three daughters. She can’t turn him away.

After a practice date elicits feelings she would rather not examine, Charlotte is determined to help the lonely chief find his match before she does something reckless.

Except he seems to prefer being single to taking her professional advice.

When they both end up in Christmas Cove for the holiday, and Grant responds to her 911 call, Charlotte needs to make a decision…

… to do her job and let her heart burn.

… or fall in love.

Matchmaking Magic is a Canadian holiday romance featuring a matchmaker in need of her own soulmate, a cranky fire chief, and two rival hearts that were made for each other.

Charlotte & Grant I liked the humour in this book from their first meeting & subsequent 911 call but I didn't connect as well emotionally as I did with previous books in the series. Charlotte pined too much for my liking and doubted herself too much. Grant definitely came across as uninterested, arrogant and oblivious for most of the book but he does redeem himself with help from his daughters.

About the author

NICOLE TAYLOR EBY has been in love with romance since she fell for her first book boyfriend. Now she writes closed-door contemporary romance with just a hint of spice— because a little bit of heat is tantalizing. Her stories are set on the rugged and beautiful west coast of Canada and feature relatable heroines, the sweet and sexy men who fall for them, and a guaranteed happily‑ever‑after.

A former member of the Canadian Navy, Nicole now lives with PTSD and severe anxiety—challenges that shape her life and fuel her creativity. Writing romance has become a kind of therapy for her: a place where love is steady, healing, and full of hope. And because Nicole has never done anything the easy way, she’s also late diagnosed ADHD, which adds its own brand of spicy chaos to everything!

Nicole lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada with her husband and three children. When she’s not writing, she’s exploring the outdoors, attempting to revive her rugby career—as a perimenopausal woman (eek!)—or obsessively crocheting bunnies in hoodies (a little humour for our Saskatchewan friends, who call a hoodie a “bunny hug”).
