About this ebook

Our western culture has programmed women to be aggressive, ambitious, independent, vain, competitive and selfish. Society has taught them to find purpose or fulfillment in their careers or work. But Sadly, many discover later in life that their true calling or purpose is to be a wife and mother. In hindsight, they may regret spending their childbearing years pursuing an empty dream, a facade of happiness. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, “Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This means we must humble ourselves, yield to the Holy Spirit, confess our selfishness, pride and rebellion and put the needs of others ahead of our own. The world seeks after pleasure or worldly gain, but Jesus said, “This world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever” (1 John 2:17). Therefore, if we want to live forever in the Kingdom of God, we must separate ourselves from the lusts of the world and its pursuits and strive for holiness. In Ephesians 5:27, Paul described the glorious church as the bride of Christ, sanctified and washed by water through the word, and presented to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.”  This means we must take our authority as believers, and renounce all worldly control and influence in our lives. In 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Paul again encouraged the church, “May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.” As believers, we are called to prepare ourselves to stand before the groom, Jesus Christ. This preparation means living in a holy and blameless way by submitting to Christ's authority and guidance. Therefore, I appeal to this generation of women to become the bride of Christ, to make herself ready by her conduct and speech. I pray that the Holy Spirit move in the hearts of women in these last days. Let us humble ourselves before the LORD and repent of rebellion and the works of the flesh to please the LORD. As we near the end of this age, we must understand our role (purpose) as godly women in the family and society, so that we may not be ashamed, but present ourselves to God as one approved.
