About this ebook

Complete and unabridged, with 98 full-page plates by Willem van de Velde the Younger, Ludolf Bakhuizen and Jean Baptiste Vanmour. A map found in a dead seaman's chest, a one-legged cook who is friendly to the boy, and an island where the treasure has already been moved. Everything the world now believes about pirates - the black spot, the parrot, the marked X - comes from this book. Its 85 original illustrations have been carefully restored and coloured for this edition.
