About this ebook

It all started at the town's Holiday Charity Auction. I donated my services for a good cause. The services? Those are a little sketchy.

Apparently I'm someone's idea of a local celebrity hunk because I play pro hockey.

The upshot is I was talked into going on a date with some lucky bidder.

The lucky bidder? She could be voted the least likely person in the entire town who should be bidding on the likes of me.

She's too young--a senior in high school and I'm way out of school by now.

And more importantly than that--I know, hard to believe something more important than a seasoned bachelor like myself on a date with a high school girl--she's a treasured (read: sheltered) daughter of the one family in town who hates me, hates my entire family in fact.

The Rossis and the Jennings are arch enemies, as in the Hatfields and McCoys, only without the weapons and killing. At least until now.

But I happen to be Carmela's heart's desire, so she gets her date.

Fast forward past the debacle of the auction, the date and her high school graduation, and that's when my judgment seems to waiver.

Because she's determined and I can't help wanting to see her again. And again.

Carmela Rossi is the kind of treat--a Garden-of-Eden-Apple--that I'm having trouble resisting.

Please pray for our souls...

Connor: the Jennings Brothers is part of the Hockey Boys series of small town hockey romances where super hunks compete on and off the ice against their nemesis--the family they've been feuding with for three generations--to find success and especially love in a story that's as angsty as it is full of humor and heart-warming moments.

(Warning: adult language and sex.)

Connor: the Jennings Brothers is professional hockey player Connor Jennings and Carmela Rossi’s small town, forbidden romance. It’s book two in the Hockey Boys Series and I was drawn in and it didn’t take me long to become invested in the Cha and their story. This author is fairly new to me and I’m struggling to understand why she hasn’t crossed my path sooner. Connor is roped into the Holiday Hunk Charity Auction in his home town and the last person he expects to bid in him is Carmela

About the author

USA Today bestselling romance author Stephanie Queen lives in stunning New Hampshire with her family. Overlooking a lake, she writes steamy sports romance and rom-coms specializing in sizzling banter.

Besides writing, which takes up a big chunk of her time, and going to the gym sporadically, which takes a very small chunk of her time, Stephanie belongs to a very social book club, loves to cook, is into UConn sports (go Huskies!) and adores chocolate covered potato chips (yes, she should spend more time at the gym).

Formerly a 9 to fiver working in downtown Boston, she’s thrown her stylish suits and fancy heels in a closet and now hangs out in UConn t-shirts and sneakers--or anything pink (such as pink sponge rollers.).

“If I could come back in another life as anything I wanted, I’d be a regency era heroine.” (Not surprisingly) Regency romances are her favorite secret reads.
