About this ebook

AI—Are you ruling it or is it ruling you?

From pastors and bestselling authors Kyle Idleman and Mark E. Moore, a timely guide for understanding and fighting against digital manipulation.

We all feel the pressure to conform. Technology makes promises of ease, access, and information—but it is quietly stealing your freedom, rewriting how you think, feel, and relate to others.

We all need a guide to protect our autonomy and mental peace, as well as deepen our faith amid the growing digital battlefield. In Digital Altars, you’ll gain a clear-eyed understanding of the psychological traps in modern software. You’ll discover how technology poses as a harmless helper while slowly isolating you from real community. And you’ll receive a God-given strategy to fight against digital manipulation.

Digital Altars is your personal roadmap to winning the war for your time, focus, and soul. Throughout these pages, you’ll learn how to:

  • Apply timeless Biblical principles to stay grounded, calm, and independent
  • Spot subtle artificial and algorithmic control in your daily routine
  • Build deep, resilient human bonds that no machine can mimic
  • Learn not to fear but how to thrive the increasing ubiquity of AI
  • Set healthy boundaries with screens as you pursue Jesus in all things

Don’t be a casualty in the digital revolution. Equip yourself with the tools to master the technology you use every day rather than letting it master you. Digital Altars will help you resist the push and pull of technology, protect your peace of mind, and truly flourish as God intended.
