The Highland Retreat (Bad Places)
About this ebook
She's run as far as she can. But danger is closer than ever...
In the aftermath of tragedy, Callie has escaped to a writing retreat at an isolated Scottish manor. Surrounded by wilderness and her fellow creatives, she plans to let words flow onto the page and heal from the horrifying event that ripped her life apart six months ago.
But one night, Callie hears someone crying out. Soon after, the remains of a deer are placed ominously on the writers’ doorstep.
It’s not long before the bodies start piling up. And that these so-called accidents are shown to be anything but innocent coincidences...
This atmospheric and pulse-pounding plotted locked-room thriller is ideal for fans of Freida McFadden and Daniel Hurst.
