About this ebook

The undead are wrecking Kat’s school life—but a ghostly flutist, a cello-playing friend, and one fearless dog may change the tune.

Kat’s mom talks to dead people. Awkward? Try bringing a popular classmate home when the house suddenly fills with bagpipes, howls, and a dancing lamp. Then Kat turns thirteen—and starts seeing spirits herself.

At school, a lonely ghost named Suzanne Bennis keeps appearing near the library. Suzanne played flute decades ago, and she needs Kat’s help. Luckily, Kat has Jac: a sharp, funny new friend who hauls a cello everywhere and has a secret of her own.

Together, the girls hunt through old school records, face down the dreaded Satellite Girls, and try to solve a mystery tangled up in music, guilt, friendship, and one very persistent school spirit.

Suddenly Supernatural: School Spirit is a witty, warm middle-grade ghost story full of spooky surprises, big feelings, cafeteria politics, and the nerve it takes to be exactly who you are.
