I absolutely loved everything about this heartfelt and swoony, second-chance romance! Harlow captured me right from the start with her enchanting story, building emotion, the small-town charm, and her fun and intriguing characters. I fell hard for Mila and Everett and cheered hard for their HEA! The transformation of their relationship was irresistible, and the slow burn tension was palpable! I loved the reconnection with friends that were hilarious and heartfelt, and the touch of a mystery.

Mila’s on a journey of self discovery & forgiveness. She’s becoming her best self despite her horrid mother’s commentary. She’s learning the love & attention of a GOOD man can bring comfort & a sense of worthiness. I absolutely loved Everett’s golden retriever energy & how he loved & supported Mila. I loved the quirky town & all of the townspeople. And the diner detectives brought a whole new dimension to the storyline. I loved the rediscovery of old but true friendships that never die.
