About this ebook

Shadowland is the first book in the thrilling, romantic Mediator series, from the New York Times bestselling author of the Princess Diaries, Meg Cabot.

Suze is a mediator—a liaison between the living and the dead. In other words, she sees dead people. And they won't leave her alone until she helps them resolve their unfinished business with the living.

But Jesse, the hot ghost haunting her bedroom, doesn't seem to need her help. Which is a relief, because Suze has just moved to sunny California and plans to start fresh, with trips to the mall instead of the cemetery, and surfing instead of spectral visitations. But the very first day at her new school, Suze realizes it's not that easy.

There's a ghost with revenge on her mind...and Suze happens to be in the way.

Don't miss the delightfully funny supernatural Mediator series, from New York Times bestselling author Meg Cabot.

  • A Snarky Heroine: Suze just wanted a fresh start in California, but her ability to see the dead—and her New York attitude—keep getting her into trouble.
  • A Haunted Bedroom: The ghost haunting Suze’s new room isn’t some scary ghoul. He’s Jesse, a 150-year-old specter who’s way too handsome for his own good.
  • Fish Out of Water: From black leather jackets and subways to palm trees and surfing, Suze Simon is a long way from Brooklyn, and she's not afraid to show it.
  • Supernatural Mystery: When a vengeful ghost starts causing trouble at the historic mission school, it’s up to Suze to solve the case before she becomes the next victim.

I picked up the fifth book from my schools library, not know it was a series, and fell in love and decided to buy the whole series. I absolutely love how Cabot writes and she will forever be my favorite author. Also if someone enjoys this series, check out the code name Cassandra series, it's just as amazing, if not better.
