About this ebook

One morning Gregor Samsa wakes up to find himself transformed into a monstrous insect — and with that single sentence begins one of the most haunting stories ever written. Franz Kafka's The Metamorphosis (1915) is a masterpiece of world literature: a tale of isolation, duty, family, and what it means to be human. This new translation by Md Sadique Ansari brings Kafka's strange, tender, and terrifying vision to Hindi readers in a rich literary register — faithful to the original, alive in its retelling. (Note: this edition is written in Devanagari script.) A must-read for lovers of classic literature, students, and anyone who has ever felt like a stranger in their own life.
