I always enjoy Zecharia Sitchin's books, & this one was no different. This book seemed as though an after resource to wrap up some "loose ends" & answer a few questions left over from the Earth Chronicles series, also written by Zecharia Sitchin. There is some criticism that goes along with Zecharia Sitchin's books, as well as a few other known authors who theories entertain the "ancient alien astronaut" theory, made famous by a popular TV show about the same subject. Whether one believes in this theory or not, Mr Sitchin was a highly educated person who was fluent in many different languages including some of the ancient languages, aiding in his research of Ancient Mesopotamia mythology. Mr Sitchin was very interested in many ancient cultures & religions, so when reading his books, you learn a lot about ancient history. I definitely recommend reading this book and Mr Sitchin's other books as well. 5 stars!

How have we readers - nay, followers! - of Sitchen not banded together and demanded the testing of the "Queen's" mitochondrial DNA? Wouldn't THAT now inexpensive test once & for all ANSWER the question that burns within us all? Let's get a petition STARTED! It's the least of gifts we could give to Sitchen!!!

Eminent biblical scholar and internationally acclaimed author Zecharia Sitchin (1920-2010) spent 60 years researching and translating Sumerian clay tablets and other ancient texts that identify the Anunnaki and their planet, Nibiru. A journalist and editor in Israel for many years, he later made his home in New York City.
