The people who did come to an airport threw a wrench into their plans and realized they were up to no good. They counter acted it with a few slight changes to her plans. That was something she could go along with though she was still very unsure of everything that was happening.
One kiss though changed everything for two people. It set things into motion that saved her life, and the two had no idea. Kate was more than happy to finally know the place where she belonged and it was one person she had no idea he felt the same about her.
