Blueberry Buckle Under: A Cozy Culinary & Pet Mystery

A berry-picking trip was supposed to end with dessert. Instead, Erin finds a body, a frightened child, and a farm full of questions.

Erin Price only wanted blueberries for a new blueberry buckle recipe. Instead, a fast-moving storm traps her at Sophie’s farm, and by the time it clears, a stranger lies dead in Sophie Bennett's compost heap — and Sophie's young son was the first to find him.

As the weather clears, Erin is left with more questions than answers and a town full of people eager for the latest story. If she wants the truth, she will have to untangle what happened on the farm before gossip buries the facts.

Erin has a gluten-free bakery to run, a new recipe to perfect, and a police-officer boyfriend who'd really rather she stayed out of it. But something about the dead man doesn't sit right.

The blueberry buckle turns out beautifully. Everything else is a mess.

Fans of small-town cozy mysteries, culinary whodunits, and found-family casts will feel right at home in Bald Eagle Falls, where the gossip flows as freely as the sweet tea and nobody's secret stays buried for long.
