Discover the bottomless, refreshing Well of God's Word―and experience a fullness and peace beyond your circumstances.

In the busy chaos of our everyday, it can be difficult to live out and apply the truths of Scripture. We want more of Jesus, but we find ourselves looking to our own lives and accomplishments for our worth and identity. And while that may buoy us for a time, we're often left feeling dried up, discouraged, and longing for more.

Gretchen Saffles knows what it's like to feel overwhelmed and unable to flourish. In The Well-Watered Woman, Gretchen leads us to:

  • The Well of fullness – where the gospel is planted in our lives and our roots take hold in the truth.
  • The Word of freedom – our journey of growing, changing, and being transformed into Jesus' likeness.
  • The Way of fruitfulness – how obedience and love keeps us flourishing in Christ.

She teaches that God's Word will satisfy us for all eternity.

Using Scripture and her own personal story of surrender, Gretchen offers spiritually hungry women tangible tools and encouragement to not only know Jesus more but to live a life that thoroughly enjoys Him, seeks Him, and follows Him into freedom.

I loved, LOVE this book! It will be one I will refer to over and over for encouragement to stay in God’s word. This book reminds me to keep my eyes on Jesus, who gives living water from the well of his word. Gretchen is so authentic and relatable in the struggles of being a woman flourishing in God’s Word in every season of life. I love how she relates spiritual growth to garden growth. It’s a beautiful wonder of God in us. This will be my number one go to gift to the women in my life.

The Well-Watered Woman is... In a world full of expectations from ourselves and others, it is easy to lose sight of our identity and what God has said about His creation. Gretchen digs for truth, making point to reference context behind Biblical passages, and presents grace while beautifully sharing her testimony and story of redemption. She uses scripture to design a Biblical view of identity, referencing personal stories along the way. While Proverbs 31 paints an image of a "Biblical woman" who perfectly lives out the truth, the Well-Watered Woman focuses on the sinful woman who is rooted in truth, growing in grace, and flourishing in faith. Gretchen writes in a way that meets each woman where she is and shares the power of the Gospel. Even in the broken places, we can still be growing and God can still be redeeming. "The goal of the Well-Watered Woman isn't to be someone but to know someone - the One who changes everything...As she makes it her daily pursuit to know Jesus, she becomes the someone God created her to be: the Well-Watered Woman" (pg. 6-7). This book is for every woman of every stage as the focus isn't on how to deal with a situation, but WHO to trust in every situation and how He calls us to be rooted in truth, growing in grace and flourishing in faith. Be ready to laugh, cry, and rejoice alongside Gretchen (and others) as you draw near to Christ while reading this beautiful book! (Note: this is a book for spiritual growth, NOT an educational book on Biblical study. She shares Biblical passages, relating them to themes and topics. Her goal was not to put together a textbook, but a book that would provide encouragement and insight into what God's Word says about our identity as women.)
