My name is Dora Lee Griffen, and my collection for this show represents everything I believe about fashion: bold colors, impeccable craftsmanship, and the kind of joy that's been missing from the industry for far too long. The fashion world is watching. So is my loyal dog Pippa, my invaluable assistant Jamie, and my best friend Viola.

But not everyone is rooting for me.

When fashion influencer Scarlett storms into my shop, phones blazing, trying to humiliate me in front of her million followers, she picked the wrong designer to mess with. I have receipts. Literally. By the time she storms out, she's the one looking like a fool.

The next evening, at our rehearsal, Scarlett is found dead.

Suddenly my comeback show is a crime scene, and I'm surrounded by suspects. A rival influencer whose ideas Scarlett stole. A young model whose career Scarlett destroyed with a single post. Even a designer I've crossed paths with before, hovering around with motivations I can't quite read.

The show must go on. But first, I need to find a killer before they decide I'm the next person who knows too much.
