Lumberjacks, marriage of convenience, best friends to lovers…say less. Luke, the lone wolf Fletcher, is finding that maybe he doesn’t want to be alone anymore. Addison ‘Roe’ Monroe is set to inherit her dad’s lumber yard, but now she has to find a man to marry her & fast. I loved watching Luke fight for the girl & seeing him realize he’s loved her all along. His jealous streak was actually kinda funny. I loved watching Roe realize that he is more than just a friend & maybe all she’s ever wanted.

I loved this sweet and swoony marriage of convenience romance! Luke and Addison have been best friends, never crossing that intimate line. When Addison needs to be married to take over the lumber yard that her family owns, Luke is first in line to offer his help. Addison doesn't want to risk damaging their friendship, so she turns him down. But Luke eventually wins her over with his hilariously nonexistent lumberjack skills. It was so easy to fall for these characters, I didn't want it to end!

While I’m more of an enemies to lovers gal myself, Daws has an infallible way with the friends to lovers genre and brought her A-game! The Mountain Man series brought us the Fletcher men and all their rugged glory. Last but not least is the youngest, Luke Fletcher. I love when besties realize their “perfect someone” has been in front of them the whole time! This book is filled with all the things! Witty banter, spicy tension, and the grade A hilarity that is the Amy Daws hallmark!
