About this ebook
--Midwest Book Review, Diane Donovan (regarding Once Gone)
From Blake Pierce, bestselling author of ONCE GONE (a #1 bestseller with over 900 five star reviews), comes a heart-pounding new mystery series.
A bundle of books #6 (BEFORE HE FEELS) and #7 (BEFORE HE SINS) in Blake Pierce's Mackenzie White Mystery series! This bundle offers books six and seven in one convenient file, with over 120,000 words of reading.
In BEFORE HE FEELS, Mackenzie White is stunned to be assigned a case with victims matching no profile she has ever seen: shockingly, all of the victims are blind. Does this mean that the killer himself is blind, too? Plunged into the subculture of the blind, Mackenzie struggles to understand, finding herself out of her element as she crisscrosses the state, racing from group homes to private houses, interviewing caretakers, librarians, experts and psychologists. And yet, despite the best minds in the country, Mackenzie seems unable to prevent the spree of killings. Has she finally met her match?
In BEFORE HE SINS priests are turning up dead, their bodies found crucified against church doors throughout Washington, D.C. Could this be some sort of act of revenge? Could it be a member of their order? Or a serial killer, hunting priests with a far more diabolical motive? The FBI turns to special agent Mackenzie White, as the case bears a resemblance to the religious overtones of her first case, The Scarecrow Killer. Plunged into the subculture of the priesthood, Mackenzie struggles to learn more about the rituals, about ancient scripture, to try to enter the killer's mind. But Mackenzie is already preoccupied by her hunt for her father's own murderer, determined to find him this time. And this new killer is more sinister than most, and will push her, in his deadly cat and mouse game, to the very brink of her own sanity.
Dark psychological thrillers with heart-pounding suspense, the MACKENZIE WHITE MYSTERY series is a riveting new series—with a beloved new character—that will leave you turning pages late into the night.
