About this ebook

Book One: The Wildflower Inn

After losing her husband, Maggie Bennett has spent two years taking care of everyone except herself.

A wrong turn brings her to Wildflower Inn, a forgotten country retreat where an elderly innkeeper named Etta quietly reminds her that life isn't over simply because someone you love is gone.

Maggie plans to stay only one night.

But as unexpected friendships begin to heal her wounded heart, she discovers that sometimes the road we never planned to travel leads us exactly where we need to be.

Welcome to Wildflower, where every ending is the beginning of something beautiful.

A missed turn brings widow Maggie to the dilapidated but strangely attractive Wildflower Inn and Etta, its quintessentially independent elderly custodian. Ms Lorah skilfully combines whimsy & positive sentimentality with practicality as she draws readers into becoming part of Wildflower Inn in a fairytale story featuring down-to-earth characters who engage in entertaining & honest dialogue, with the inn renovations serving as an analogy for Maggie's return to her former independent identity.
