About this ebook

One Summer. No Regrets

Carly Reynolds does not want to work at her father’s Branson theater over the summer, but she has no choice. After wrecking his prized Mercedes on Prom night, she’s got to pay him back somehow before she leaves for college. Now she’s stuck working as the personal assistant to twenty-year-old Gracin Ford, former member of one-hit-wonder boy band Accentuate.

Gracin is demanding, condescending, and an all-around jerk. Carly would rather eat glass than deal with a male diva who’s more famous for his stint in rehab than his music. Until she realizes that Gracin’s lonely. Once she welcomes him into her life, she starts to let him into her heart. Even though she knows it will end when she leaves for school, Carly doesn’t want to look back on her life and wonder what if. Even if it means a broken heart.

I really liked these characters, Gracin and Carly were much more tan they first appeared. They had depth and complexity and I was drawn in as I got to know them both better. This is sweet, spicy and romantic, but with deeper feelings and a little heartache. There’s great banter, growth, twists and warmth and I wanted it to keep going. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is a sweet young adult romance with a enemies to more spin. This is the first in the authors "Just One" series and reads as a stand alone story. This one is about Carly and Gracin. Carly is working at her father's theater as punishment. She is working with Gracin and not excited about it. Gracin, was part of a band, and is trying to get his magic back. These two are great with fun banter, bickering and back and forth. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end.

I really enjoyed reading Carly and Gracin's story. Carly holds nothing back. I laughed so hard with her snarky banter. I also cried for her trauma from a very young age. Gracin is angry at the world. And very talented. Carly Sparks something inside him. And he definitely pushes her buttons. So grab a box of tissues and get settled in for this wonderful story where you will fall in love with the characters. Who will make you laugh and cry and squeeze your heart and then fill your heart with so mu
