One Wedding and a Murder: A Novel

She wrote the perfect murder. Now, it's coming true.

For Mindy Washington, attending a lavish Tuscan wedding was supposed to be the ultimate escape. One week of festivities, rolling green hills, red wine, and ample time to revise One Wedding and a Murder, the Italian set murder mystery novel she's been drafting for years.

But if she knows anything as a writer? There's always a plot twist. And this wedding has one too many.

When a guest drops dead in an eerily similar way to a character in her unpublished story, it seems like a coincidence. But when the detectives start pointing fingers at her, she starts to look like a killer. As the evidence stacks up, Mindy knows that she's in trouble if she can't figure out how her book is involved in the crime.

Enter Adam Kozel. A brooding detective harboring a mysterious past, Mindy knows she should stay away, but unable to resist, she finds herself asking for his help to catch the murderer before she goes down for the crime. The deeper they investigate, the more fact, fiction, and feelings tangle together. A murderous wedding was definitely in the book outline. Falling in love? That's a different story altogether.
