About this ebook
A Cloistered Nun Turned Sleuth Unravels a Web of Threats and Deception
"Thief in Retreat is a thoroughly absorbing, sharply drawn story with a protagonist who is courageous, intelligent, and endearing. Sister Agatha, with her restored Harley Davidson motorcycle and ex-police dog, Pax are a dynamite team that's hard to beat... I eagerly await Sister Agatha's next adventure." – Earlene Fowler, author of Delectable Mountains
Our Lady of Hope, an aging monastery in rural New Mexico, is always in need of repairs. When the local diocese offers to pay for a new water well in exchange for housing a novice nun, Sister Josephine, it seems like a godsend. However, Sister Jo's loud, inappropriate behavior doesn't fit well with the contemplative order.
As if the tension wasn't enough, threatening messages begin arriving at the monastery. With Sister Agatha's history of investigations, she's no stranger to potential grudges. But is she really the target? And could Sister Jo, who arrived just before the threats began, somehow be entangled in this dangerous web?
In Prodigal Nun, Aimee and David Thurlo's nimble plotting leaves readers turning pages while the compelling characters of Our Lady of Hope Monastery draw you into their richly textured world. Brace yourself for a gripping tale of secrets and suspense in this latest installment of the Sister Agatha mystery series.
