About this ebook

Jim Corbett, best known for his exploits in hunting and tracking down dangerous tigers and leopards, was at heart a naturalist and conservationist. At home in India, Corbett's natural storeytelling captures what he saw and felt.

My India is Corbett’s close, almost intimate, look at the country where he spent most of his life. It contains loving descriptions of different places and people that he came across and how they affected him.

My India transports the reader back into another age, when life was simpler and values were different. The India of yore might have lacked the amenities and facilities of India of today, but Jim Corbett’s India was every bit as beautiful and loveable.

Even as Jungle Lore reveals the soul of Jim Corbett, My India reveals his heart.
