About this ebook

Attraction brought them together. Duty pulls them apart. War may demand everything.

Ryann Starland was raised to be the future leader of Bouvier City. But in order to ascend to the throne, she must marry the faithless Richard Anderson. With the Black Bird Coven crushing the city, Ryann can hear the wedding bells ringing louder than ever.

Apollo Thundir was once a powerful warlock and dashing agent with Livingston’s Security Firm. But an injury has cost him his sight, leashed his powers, and caused him to question his own usefulness just when the rebellion needs him most.

A betrayal hits close to home and a traitor threatening to destroy the resistance rocks Ryann’s confidence and everything she thought she knew. Now, Apollo is the only person she can trust.

As they fight to find new allies, and a way to free their city from the coven’s control, Ryann and Apollo realize they may lose themselves and their hearts during their struggle.

A slow-burn romantasy packed with arranged marriage tension, enemies-within betrayal, grumpy-sunshine heat, and a love story written in starlight and sacrifice.

Not may favorite. There’s a lot of back and forth. A very reluctant bride and duty expected over everything. Perhaps reading in order would’ve made a difference. Idk. It’s not a bad romantasy. Just a bit overly complex imo. Your mileage may vary. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
