About this ebook

A knight bound by honor. A king who fled the field.

Scotland, 1306. Orphaned young and raised by an English-sworn foster father, Thomas Randolph is determined to carve his own legacy. When his uncle, Robert the Bruce, claims the Scottish crown, Thomas proudly answers the call. He takes the knightly vow, stakes his future on a free Scotland, and rides out to defend his king.

Then comes the crushing defeat at the Battle of Methven.

Instead of standing to the last man, Robert the Bruce leads a handful of his men in a flight into the wilderness, leaving much of his defeated army to face execution. Dragged from the brink of death by his foster father, Thomas is left shattered and disillusioned. Convinced his uncle abandoned his men merely to save his own life, Thomas makes a fateful choice: he swears an oath to Edward I.

Now marching beneath enemy colors, Thomas fights to crush the rebellion with bloody conviction. But as he tracks the royal fugitive through mountains and glens, the ghost of his former loyalty refuses to sleep. Forced to hunt the king he once swore to protect, Thomas fights brutal battles where the lines between loyalty and treason are written in blood—and keeping faith may cost him his soul.

Noble Traitor is a gripping historical novel perfect for readers of Bernard Cornwell and Conn Iggulden who demand high-stakes military realism, complex family dynamics, and a profound look at the true cost of honor. A well constructed narrative which cannot fail to transport the reader back in history where one truly feels they are a part of.
