Once again you are given the bait and switch by the description. Superman's only appearance is a picture of him standing there and he has nothing to do with the current plot. As for the plot, if there was an assassination I couldn't tell you who it was and the story still has more questions than answers. What little is given to you so far is not that interesting or really that engaging (The latest Batman failing at catching someone for the second issue while we are given flashbacks to the past). I want to like this concept, but I am losing interest as all I get is incoherent clips of jumbled story. I feel like I being setup for a "Once Upon a Time" type story where flashing back to the past is just a tool to setup ever more unlikely reasons why the special guest of the week hates a selected regular cast member or previously un-revealed character trait, flaw or secret (that will be ignored for 50+ issues) suddenly becomes a crisis point.
