May It Please The Court

I give this book a 3.5 stars rating. It wasn't edited or proofread very well, and although the story/plot was intriguing, it was overly verbose. There was lots of extraneous information that didn't add to the plot or move the story forward. Early on, I felt like I was reading a script for Telemundo - a very cheesy script. I did finish the book because I was curious how it was going to end, and I was half right about the "bad guys". I might read another book by this author, but I wouldn't commit to it.

I found this book very hard to follow and was bored by the legalese that was over the top. the only thing good about it was the suspense of who done it, which turned out to be mind boggling

I can count on one hand the number of books I haven't read to the end. This is one of them. "Tedious" is the best word I can use to describe my experience. I made it 70 pages and just couldn't anymore.
