About this ebook

She’s a common girl in a ruthless kingdom. He’s the king’s son—and her greatest danger.

Seventeen-year-old Rema has learned to survive by keeping her head down. In a land where starvation and violence rule, even a wrong glance can mean death. But when she accidentally crosses paths with Prince Darmik—the ruthless commander of the King’s Army—everything changes.

Their connection is instant. Forbidden. Dangerous.

The Crown Prince will do anything to keep Rema away from his brother, even if it means blackmailing her into a deadly political game she can’t win. Forced into the palace, Rema becomes a pawn in a brutal struggle for the throne—where secrets whisper of a lost heir, and every choice could cost her family, her freedom, or her life.

When Darmik uncovers dark truths about his own bloodline, he must decide if he will fight for the crown—or for the girl who could bring his kingdom to its knees.

Perfect for fans of Kiera Cass, Mary E. Pearson, and epic YA fantasy romance with forbidden love and royal intrigue.

Can't stop reading it I couldn't fall asleep before I do finish it. It was a good read. The main protagonist stayed true to her character. Unlike some other stories. I think it was well written although I won't call it unique. Again, it used the "I'm not the same like other girls" female protagonist kinda vibe but it actually turned out quite well. I'm usually annoyed by it but this girl grew on me. Looking forward to reading the sequel if I do get my hands on it.

endless over explanations on repeat it was truly miserable to get myself through page after page of why she hated the crown prince so much and every thing that she had been through since page 1......over and over....... no just no......
