Dark Alpha's Temptation

I am a Reaper—an elite assassin bound to Death. Obedience is all I’ve ever known.

I carry out the command without hesitation, without mercy, without question.

Until Kyra.

She is fire and defiance, all sharp edges and unbreakable will. The moment she steps into my world, the darkness loosens its grip—and that terrifies me more than any enemy ever has. She makes me want. She makes me feel. She makes me question the one thing I was never meant to doubt.

The answers we need are buried in her past.

But the closer I get, the harder it is to remember she was ever meant to be just a mission.

Kyra doesn’t simply tempt me—she unravels me.

Every touch threatens my control.

Every look dares me to choose her over duty.

And with each breath, I feel myself slipping further from the Reaper I was forged to be.

Defying Death means facing consequences that span time itself.

But losing Kyra would destroy what little remains of me.

If temptation is my downfall, so be it.

I’ll challenge the past. And I’ll fight for the future.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a fiercely sensual tale of forbidden desire, dangerous choices, and a Reaper willing to defy fate itself.
