Quiet Skies

The sky went quiet. Then the messages started.

Mara Ellis knows something is wrong when the world around her begins behaving like it’s waiting for instructions.

A strange object.

A classified experiment.

A government operation nobody will explain.

And a message that should be impossible.

When Mara discovers a mysterious key fob connected to a secretive project, she becomes the target of people who will kill to get it back. Suddenly she’s running from surveillance teams, drones, armed operatives, and an organization that seems to know far more about her than she knows about them.

But the deeper Mara digs, the stranger things become.

Because this isn't just a government conspiracy.

Something is responding.

Hidden signals are appearing. Strange objects seem to react to human presence. People exposed to the phenomenon begin behaving in ways no one can explain. And buried beneath the official story is evidence that humanity may have already made contact with something beyond our understanding.

Then Mara discovers the most disturbing possibility of all:

They may not have been contacted first.

They may have knocked.

Now the skies are changing.

The government is preparing for something it refuses to acknowledge. A mysterious network of signals is coming alive. And Mara may be the one person capable of discovering what is on the other side of the door.

But if humanity really did initiate first contact, there is one question nobody can answer:

What answered?
