Accurate book but, the only way you are going to learn about mental health is through living it. Through trial and error. No book Is going to give you the answers. You’ve just got to stick with treatment. find stability in your medications and coping skills. And if therapy works for you then all the more power to you. Use it. If you’re just now getting diagnosed maybe this book would be nice to flip through to learn more but that’s all it’s good for.

This is an excellent account of what it's like to be Bipolar, especially suffering from depression and anxiety. As someone who is Bipolar myself, and lost my teaching job due to the diagnosis, in 2000, age 49, I really appreciate Dave writing this book. I hope it will encorage me to write my story too. I love the short chapters, easily manageable, the comments from others and I have read this book in one sitting. I have also bought a copy to give to my Support Worker and another for a friend. Th

AMAZING BOOK!!!! I suffer constantly from mood swings related to my struggle with bipolar disorder, and it has always been ready difficult to find ways to prevent and soothe those mood swings. This book has been a breakthrough for me. It revolves around coping with mood swings and ways to prevent and treat them! Thank you so much to the creators of this book, because I have made more improvement from this book alone than I have from a lifetime of therapy. This book is a godsend, and I recommend
