I love how west writes possessive and protective dominant characters, with their adorable sweet actions to those they care about. The main characters interacting and dialogue was hot, funny, and sweet. I always find her books the perfect balance of overprotective and possessive dominate partner while still being consensual. This was an okay read, not something I would read again but I did get through it, it's a very short read though. I loved the obliviousness between Rider and Ash. They were both secretly in love with each other without the other person knowing. I also loved how Rider was Ash's safe space without fear or judgment about him being trans. I know this was meant to be a short story, but I could definitely read a full novel about the growth of their relationship before any grand gestures!.
