4.5 stars. I have really enjoyed seeing Tessa and Adam get to know each other, explore what was between them, and fall in love. I loved how patient Adam was, how he listened to what Tessa wanted and put her first always. I really liked how they were able to be open with each other and trust one another despite their experiences and pasts. I have very much enjoyed reading their story and wanted it to continue when I got to the end. I am voluntarily leaving this review after receiving an ARC.

You'll love Tessa and Adam's story. It will grab your attention right at the beginning, and it won't take you long to get emotionally involved with them, A sweet small town romance with that has you cheering for Tessa to have a second chance at love. She was scarred from an abusive marriage, but was determined to take care of her young son. No shortage of drama or angst from her ex. Adam is the brother of her good friend, and it was heartwarming to watch their love grow. A good book that is

J.H. never disappoints! Tessa and Adam's story is sweet, heart wrenching, passionate and painful at times...but that is what immerses you in their world. The both have a lot of baggage but together they are stronger, as long as they don't let their pasts cloud their futures. Loved them! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.
