Bharath Me Matsya Krushi: Neeli Viplav

He is having Doctorate in Aquaculture and has been writing research papers and popular articles for national and international journals, magazines, and newspapers. He has written 18 books in Telugu, English, and Hindi.

He has been honoured as a "Living Legend in Aquaculture," "Walking Library in Aquaculture," "Father of Fisheries in Andhra Pradesh," "Shining Pearl," and "Father of Blue Revolution in India." He was awarded an Honorary Doctorate by an Australian university for the skills he developed for fisheries employment, and he was also honored as the Global Kissan Seva Ratna 2021.

The author has travelled throughout India—across 25 states and 9 union territories—guiding, selecting, and establishing fish, shrimp, and crab culture ponds, tanks, and cages. With his innovative research done by the author could able to introduce synthetic hormones for successful induced breeding in major carps, identified communicable diseases of fishes, shrimps, and crabs, suggested suitable therapy methods, and introduced organic, simple, and low-cost culture practices for fish, shrimp, and crab culture.

The author has the credit of introducing 95 sanitizers, disinfectants, drugs, and chemicals for the successful control of fish, shrimp, and crab cultures. He carries 40 years of experience and has delivered more than 300 lectures, about 80 television programs have been broadcasted on ETV, D.D, 10 TV, Sakshi TV, and Suman TV regarding his aquaculture works.
