Demons’ Nest

The world Olivia knew has changed completely. After discovering that the deadly “demons” of the planet Edalide were actually the sentient chimera species, upending centuries of doctrine, Olivia left the human city of Citadel.

Together with her best friend Riley, her father Ormus, and a few other humans, they work to create peace with the chimera. But trust and change come slowly, and tensions mount as sabotage threatens their new home. Along with a desperate race for survival before the coming winter, Olivia must find a way forward between hatred and optimism, fear and love.

And as she realizes her growing feelings for her best friend, Riley himself is targeted by the governor of Citadel, his own father, who prepares for all-out war on the small colony. With the fate of the planet resting on their shoulders, can they forge a new future for both species?
