About this ebook

Yesterday, my biggest problem was finding a blouse without a coffee stain.

Today, it’s the ghost of my best friend demanding I solve his murder. Oh—and his cat talks. With a British accent.

Ben doesn’t remember how he died. Just that it wasn’t an accident. And somehow, in the middle of all this, I’ve inherited his private investigation business.

Me. Audrey Fitzgerald. Formerly employed. Frequently underestimated. Currently seeing dead people.

Between a ghost with unfinished business, a cat who believes he’s the smartest one in the room, and a distractingly handsome detective who thinks I should leave the investigating to professionals, my life has officially veered off course.

I don’t trust cops. I trip over perfectly flat surfaces. And I have absolutely no intention of letting Ben’s murder go unsolved. He was my best friend. And if someone thinks they got away with killing him, they’re about to learn otherwise.

Ghost Mortem is the hilarious first book in the Ghost Detective paranormal cozy mystery series, featuring a ghostly best friend, a talking cat, small-town secrets, and a slow-burn romance that starts with suspicion.

Started out interesting enough. Characters are too childish. And the main character is dumb with a capital D. Everything carried the plot but not in a good way. Some parts were pretty predictable. I especially didn't like that she jeopardized a crime scene. I only really liked Thor and Galloway.

Brilliant, I laughed until the tears ran down my legs. Storytelling at it's best. I would have never guessed the killer, had me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
