Wing Adrift: Dragonrider Romantasy

Left for dead, Agari Gepplar wakes alone in an abandoned ogre compound, sick, wounded, and too weak to stand. The ogres have fled, but the tiny mirefangs that drove them away are one more poisoned bite away from killing him.

Gepp has no weapon, no allies, and no idea how long he has before the ogres return with their appetite for human flesh.

When escaped humans, long-practiced at hiding, bring in a badly wounded stranger, Loralie Dojan does what she knows best: she uses her magical healing to keep another survivor alive. But Agari Gepplar is no ordinary survivor. He is a trained warrior determined to cross the strait to Shartres and home.

Loralie isn’t prepared for how difficult it is to keep a resolute warrior from carrying every burden alone, including the ones he won’t say aloud.

She might be the first person he is ready to tell.

If the villagers can infiltrate an ogre compound and free its enslaved dragons, they may carry the escaped humans home. But getting in is one problem. Getting out with the abused dragons and the humans who have endured by hiding is another.

Gepp has survived by carrying his losses alone. Loralie has survived by caring for everyone but herself. Neither expects to find love in Ogreland.

Can Gepp and Loralie risk trusting each other with more than their escape before the ogres take away their last chance at survival?

The skies are wider than one flight.
