About the author

F. Scott Fitzgerald (1896–1940)

Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald was an American novelist, essayist, and short-story writer, celebrated as one of the greatest literary voices of the Jazz Age. Born on September 24, 1896, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Fitzgerald captured the glamour, excess, and disillusionment of post-WWI America with unparalleled wit and lyricism.

His 1925 masterpiece, The Great Gatsby, endures as a defining novel of the 20th century—a poignant critique of the American Dream. Other major works, such as This Side of Paradise (1920) and Tender Is the Night (1934), cemented his reputation for exploring themes of wealth, ambition, and the fragility of happiness.

Fitzgerald’s life mirrored his fiction: a whirlwind of fame, tumultuous marriage to socialite Zelda Fitzgerald, and struggles with alcoholism and financial instability. Despite his early death at 44, his legacy as a chronicler of human longing and societal decay remains timeless.

“So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”

— The Great Gatsby

Adolfo Benjamin Kunjuk was born in Argentina and has dedicated his life to understanding how the systems that organize the world work: technological systems, power systems, and human systems.

From a young age, he was interested in the structure behind things, not only what happens, but why it happens. That curiosity led him to study Information Technology, where he built a career of more than a decade developing digital platforms, scalable architectures, and technology solutions for international environments.

Later, his search expanded into Citizen Security and strategic analysis, integrating an interdisciplinary perspective on crime, sovereignty, geopolitics, and the impact of technology on contemporary societies.

His professional experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer and systems specialist has allowed him to observe from the inside how the structures that sustain the digital economy and modern infrastructure are designed. That technical understanding now informs his writing, giving him an uncommon perspective: he combines social sensitivity with structural knowledge.

As an author, he explores current conflicts, global tensions, identity in digital times, and the transformations of power in the 21st century. His texts do not aim to simplify reality, but to understand it in depth.

He lives and writes in Argentina.
